Just as Matsuo Bashō once visited Yamadera and turned what he felt in its landscape into a haiku, contemporary artists now draw out new figures of Yamadera through their own eyes and forms of expression.
Even before the same landscape, what each person sees and what rises in their mind differs. Rather than simply viewing the work, you notice — through the mirror of the work — what you feel and how you see the world. This is the space where the Yamadera Galleria experience begins.

You can choose a date and time and buy your ticket from a phone or computer. No account is needed. Just enter the verification code sent to your email address. To enter, simply show the QR code we send when you buy. There is no need to stop at a counter on the day.

- Visitors of primary school age and younger must be accompanied by a guardian aged 18 or over.
- Pre-school children must be accompanied by a guardian at all times.
- Please do not run inside the museum.
- Please do not eat or drink inside the exhibition rooms.
- The exhibition includes darkness, flashing light, loud sound and moving images.

Can I cancel or change the date and time of my ticket?
You can cancel for a full refund up to 24 hours before your entry time. For some sessions the deadline has already passed at the time of purchase. The deadline for your session is shown during the booking process. We do not accept changes of date or time. If you would like a different session, please cancel and book again (the same session will not be held for you).
